Senior Manager, Business Applications

BigCommerce, named a "Best Place to Work" in Austin 2018 is looking for a driven, Senior Business Applications Manager of Information System to join our Business Applications team to ensure that core business processes are supported, maintained, and continuously improving. As a critical member of our development group, you will be reporting to the Director of IT and Business Applications. You will work with leaders of our diverse business units to meet their needs, identify and implement improvements, and ensure system availability is functionality at the highest levels. You will also use your creativity and project management skills to participate in essential team projects with the Business Applications team to continue to configure and optimize the business use of Salesforce.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for delivering key business functionality
• Evaluate and implement new technology on the Salesforce Platform
• Advocate process and solutions that deliver continuous improvement
• Responsible for Salesforce data quality
• Responsible for Salesforce security
• Will support SOX and security audits
• Build and maintain strong relationships
• Ensure Team and Systems stay current with industry best practices
• Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals
• Plan and manage small to large Biz Apps projects
• Work with the Project Manager to perform Sprint activities for the delivery of new functionality
• Perform periodic review and evaluation of employees, managing performance, training, coaching, and goal setting
• Assist in planning the budget for the Bizapps team
• Work with application vendors & Salesforce development partners
• Build reports and scorecards to ensure our system’s health
• Manage alert and escalation process
• Establish working schedules, manage time off to ensure appropriate coverage for operating workloads

Who you are:

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering,
• 7+ years of IT Leadership experience
• Proven record of IT leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Strong experience managing large Salesforce Orgs with 750+ users
• Strong project management skills
• Strong application lifecycle management
• Strong ability to analyze complex issues in detail
• Comprehend complex, technical subjects
• Fosters team collaboration
• Relationship building
• Excellent knowledge of and Data Integrations

Nice to Have

• Certified Architect
• Certified Developer, Apex
• Certified ScrumMaster
• Experience with Zuora
• Experience with Marketo or other marketing platforms
• Experience with Salesforce Community and Knowledge
• Understanding of code promotion, version control, continuous integration and ALM processes
