BigCommerce’s diverse pool of agency and technology partners is a large part of what makes customers on our platform so successful. To show these businesses how much we value their support and collaboration, we recognize the top partners for the year through our BigCommerce Partner Awards program.

Each year, we award agency and tech partners across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC who have gone above and beyond to help customers see success on BigCommerce. 

In 2023, we celebrated the program's sixth year, which featured 22 categories across each region. After careful evaluation from a variety of BigCommerce employees and executives, we selected one outstanding partner who exceeded expectations for each category.

BigCommerce 2023 Agency Partner Award Winners: EMEA

Agency Partner of the Year: Adiacent

Adiacent is this year’s Agency Partner of the Year for consistently delivering BigCommerce customers excellent solutions designed to grow revenue. The agency is always looking for cutting-edge opportunities to set its clients up for success, as shown through the composable framework it built for Bestway Europe.

From our judges: “Adiacent has once again demonstrated excellence across all areas, from sales to delivery. The results achieved in 2023 and the Agency Partner of the Year Award reflect this. The agency gave a stellar performance predicated on ongoing sales engagement, alignment with all teams, and continuous investment in building a BigCommerce practice.”

New Agency Partner of the Year: IDHL

As a new member of the BigCommerce partner ecosystem, IDHL has gone above and beyond to demonstrate its commitment to helping BigCommerce customers succeed. The agency’s reliability and industry knowledge have allowed it to launch robust sites ahead of schedule. Through its hard work and dedication, IDHL helped a gift retailer go live on BigCommerce, just before its busiest sales period, allowing the brand to maximize revenue.

From our judges: “IDHL has quickly become one of our most exciting and reliable partners, collaborating with old and new clients. Investing in both developer and sales knowledge, it brings its market experience to innovate with BigCommerce for brand needs.”

Agency Partner of the Year - Northern Europe: Space 48

Elite partner Space 48, another new addition to our agency partners, has helped grow our BigCommerce customer base throughout the year. This agency has been a valuable asset to a long list of brands on our platform and works tirelessly to build robust sites designed to exceed customer expectations. For brands like, Space 48 built a headless architecture to optimize site performance and help the brand position itself as a market leader. 

From our judges: “Space48 has always been a staple of our BigCommerce ecosystem. 2023 continued with adding new logos to our joint portfolio and seeing our long-time clients grow with our partnership.”

Agency Partner of the Year – Southern Europe: Ebolution

Ebolution is this year's winner for successfully growing BigCommerce brands throughout 2023 and ensuring they achieve their business goals. The agency takes pride in delivering quality work designed to scale our customers. As a new partner, we’re proud to see Ebolution achieve high volumes of success for our brands. 

From our judges: “Ebolution has quickly become the quintessential reference for what a successful BigCommerce partner looks like. It wins the Partner of the Year, EMEA South Award, for best overall performance across all areas and is becoming a beacon of success in the EMEA South partner ecosystem.”

B2B Excellence Award: Agency51

Agency51 used its expertise to re-platform Pedigree Wholesale’s site to BigCommerce. With a tight timeline and a variety of involved requirements from the brand, the agency took advantage of B2B Edition to quickly deliver a store that exceeded expectations and instantly generated revenue.

From our judges: “Utilizing B2B Edition to create a faster user-friendly portal, Agency51 completed a platform migration and extensive SAP integration in just five months. Site highlights include millions of customer-specific prices, multi-language, and multi-user.”

Omnichannel Solutions Award: Digital Growth

Digital Growth is this year's Omnichannel Solutions Award winner for taking an innovative approach to helping Miss Bikini reach new shoppers. After a thorough SEO audit, the team took advantage of BigCommerce’s robust features to optimize the site for SEO, improving its visibility. 

From our judges: “Digital Growth (formerly SeoChef) has been at the forefront of omnichannel innovation and delivery. It leads with a thorough process of evaluating site structure to complete an SEO audit and analyze key areas that need improvement. It excels at leveraging BigCommerce's user-friendliness and advanced customization features to implement successful strategies that bring remarkable and quantifiable improvement in visibility and traffic.”

User Experience & Design Award: Strawberry

For building an unmatched user experience that positioned one of our BigCommerce customers to better serve clients, Strawberry is this year’s User Experience & Design Award winner. After building an aesthetically pleasing storefront and a feature that enables shoppers to create personalized shirts, the brand has seen significant growth.

From our judges: “Balancing a strong client brand and complex personalization is key to Strawberry’s success working with its client. BigCommerce provided flexibility to enable shirt personalization using out-of-the-box stencil functionality.”

Creative Problem Solving Award: GPMD Ltd

As an agency fully committed to scaling customers regardless of the challenges presented, GPMD Ltd is this year’s Creative Problem Solving Award winner. After MUJI asked the agency to re-platform its site, GPMD took advantage of BigCommerce’s Multi-Storefront feature to launch scalable storefronts across several regions. Together, GPMD and BigCommerce have enabled MUJI to drastically improve online sales.

From our judges: “Supporting a scaling, recognizable brand across multiple regions brings a number of challenges. The main challenge was providing a solution to support multiple regions with variable experiences and a clear, unified brand. GPMD achieved all of the above.”

Headless Commerce Award: Apply Digital

As an agency that prides itself on its expertise in composable commerce, Apply Digital is the 2023 Headless Commerce Award winner. After helping Brompton go composable, the business has seen skyrocketed success. We’re proud to work with Apply Digital to deliver BigCommerce customers a flexible and composable experience.

From our judges: “Apply showcased its experience taking an established brand on a composable journey. It balanced 10+ different technologies to bring the best-in-breed solutions to support its clients' rapid growth across borders using BigCommerce.”

Excellence in Delivery Award – Northern Europe: Apply Digital

In addition to being an expert in composable commerce, Apply Digital has a reputation for delivering projects on time that go above and beyond standard expectations. Because of this, it’s this year's Excellence in Delivery Award winner for Northern Europe. We’ve seen the agency’s innovation and expertise demonstrated through its work with a variety of brands, and we look forward to seeing its continued success.

Excellence in Delivery Award – Southern Europe: SMC Consulting Srl

One of our longest partners, SMC Consulting Srl, is known for building extraordinary sites designed to scale. We’re proud to give them the Excellence in Delivery Award for Southern Europe due to its customer-first mentality, which enables them to deliver timely projects within budget requirements.

Community Award: 5874 Commerce

5874 showcases unmatched care and dedication to its ecommerce community. After launching its Woman’s Domain campaign, the agency has built a stronger environment centered around diversity and inclusion. We’re proud to partner with an agency that emphasizes social responsibility, which is why it's this year’s Community Award winner.

From our judges: “The Woman's Domain campaign really is starting a conversation in the community, with women leading the conversation on all topics around parenthood, the workplace, and more. 5874 isn’t only starting the conversation, but also setting a strong example with its own organization with 50% women developers and becoming a Bcorp partner.”

BigCommerce 2023 Tech Partner Award Winners: EMEA

Tech Partner of the Year: Stripe

Due to the growing number of BigCommerce customers integrating Stripe’s intuitive and frictionless checkout experience, we’ve awarded it Tech Partner of the Year. With a variety of brands seeing ample success after integrating this software, we’re excited to continue seeing BigCommerce customers grow through this partnership.

From our judges: “We have seen a number of BigCommerce customers increase their authorization rates by moving to Stripe and utilizing Stripe's frictionless checkout flow and easy-to-use tools. We are also very appreciative of the team's joint collaboration with our sales team this past year.”

Innovative Integration Award: Stripe

At the beginning of 2023, BigCommerce partnered with Stripe to launch Link — a one-click checkout experience. Since its release, countless customers have integrated it into their sites to build a seamless customer experience. With its growing popularity, it's become the fastest adopted payment method in the software’s integration.

From our judges: “Since launching Stripe's Link one-click checkout in Q1 '23, we have seen great results for BigCommerce customers, including increased authorization rates and a more seamless customer journey.”

Customer Growth Award: PayPal

PayPal is a trusted partner that allows BigCommerce brands to offer a seamless payment experience. Due to its impressive customer base, BigCommerce has seen significant growth and success from brands that implement this technology. We’re proud to award PayPal as the Customer Growth winner this year.

From our judges: “PayPal provides an easy-to-use payment solution from which SMBs and Enterprise customers alike benefit. PayPal is focused on providing a great customer experience and continues to innovate by adding new payment methods and features.”

Best User Experience Award: Klaviyo

Klaviyo’s intuitive interface enables BigCommerce customers to effortlessly integrate this tool into their ecommerce site. With this software, brands can seamlessly market their business through email, SMS, and push notifications to connect with customers and generate sales.

From our judges: “Klaviyo powers smarter digital relationships, making it easy for businesses to capture, store, analyze, and predictively use their own data to drive measurable, high-value outcomes. Klaviyo’s modern and intuitive SaaS platform enables business users of any skill level to harness their first-party data from more than 350 integrations to send the right message at the right time across email, SMS, and push notifications. More than 143,000 paying users leverage Klaviyo to acquire, engage, and retain customers — and grow on their own terms.”

New Frontier Award: Global-e

Global-e has been named the 2023 New Frontier Award winner after helping several BigCommerce customers expand into international markets throughout the year. This has enabled BigCommerce brands that sell globally to grow their customers and revenue effortlessly.

From our judges: “Global-e, a leading cross-border solution provider, supports BigCommerce customers' expansion into new countries through its superior product experience and local expertise. This partnership empowers brands to expand internationally by offering localized messaging, pricing, and payment methods and handling complexities like fully landed costs and fraud risk. Ultimately, this partnership helps BigCommerce customers significantly increase international revenue.”
